APS keyboard shortcuts
APS shortcuts work while its main window is in the background. Presentation commands still depend on the active supported presentation application. Use the current tables below when following the video.
1. Presentation control
Prepare the files in order in one folder, then keep the presentation app in focus. These shortcuts switch presentation files; ordinary clicker navigation advances slides within a file.
Mac
| Shortcut | Action |
|---|---|
| Command + Right Arrow | Open the next presentation in the folder in full screen. |
| Command + Left Arrow | Open the previous presentation in full screen. |
| Command + Down Arrow | Open the next presentation without starting its slideshow. |
| Command + Up Arrow | Put the active supported presentation or APS-controlled Chrome page into full screen. This does not close other presentation documents. |
| Command + Option + Up Arrow | Close other supported presentation documents, keeping the current presentation. Save edits first. |
Windows
| Shortcut | Action |
|---|---|
| Ctrl + Right Arrow | Open the next presentation in the folder in full screen. |
| Ctrl + Left Arrow | Open the previous presentation in full screen. |
| Ctrl + Down Arrow | Open the next presentation without starting its slideshow. |
| Ctrl + Up Arrow | Start the active presentation in full screen. When already in full screen, close other presentations, subject to the PDF exceptions below. Also puts an active APS-controlled Chrome window into full screen. |
With a PDF already in full screen, Ctrl + Up Arrow behaves according to the selected PDF app: Acrobat closes its other documents and PowerPoint documents; Okular leaves its PDF documents open and closes PowerPoint documents; Adobe Reader closes PowerPoint documents if PowerPoint is running, otherwise it reopens the current PDF. Save work before using a close command.
See Mac presentation shortcuts or Windows presentation shortcuts for folder setup and the difference between exiting and closing.
2. Still-image control
Use Control + Shift on both platforms, including Mac. These actions do not depend on presentation focus. Capture replaces the bank's current image.

| Control + Shift + 1 | Display image bank 1. |
| Control + Shift + 2 | Display image bank 2. |
| Control + Shift + 3 | Display the test pattern. |

| Control + Shift + 7 | Capture the Main presenter screen into image bank 1. |
| Control + Shift + 8 | Capture the Main presenter screen into image bank 2. |
| Control + Shift + F | Freeze: capture and display the Main presenter screen. |
| Control + Shift + Escape | Eject the still-image output. |
Windows
| Shortcut | Action |
|---|---|
| Control + Shift + 1 | Display image bank 1. |
| Control + Shift + 2 | Display image bank 2. |
| Control + Shift + 3 | Display the test pattern. |
| Control + Shift + 4 | Blackout. |
| Control + Shift + 7 | Capture the Main presenter screen into image bank 1. |
| Control + Shift + 8 | Capture the Main presenter screen into image bank 2. |
